Book a consultAlmost invisible
Invisalign® clear aligners are virtually invisible. This means you can always smile with confidence, as most people will not notice you are even wearing them.
Custom made and removable
Invisalign® aligners are custom-made for you using cutting-edge technology. Invisalign® aligners are made with SmartTrack flexible material, making it super easy to remove and put on, unlike braces which are fixed. Now, you can enjoy your favourite food any time you want.
Minimal discomfort
Invisalign® uses only SmartTrack material, specifically engineered with your comfort in mind. Invisalign® aligners are BPA-free, phthalate-free, and biocompatible. Each aligner is individually trimmed to perfectly fit your gumline. The result is an aligner that looks and feels better and moves the teeth more comfortably, as compared to braces which may irritate and cause pain.
Fast and simple
With the accelerated orthodontic device that we offer, Invisalign® treatment can take half the time it normally does as aligners are changed every 5-7 days. You could complete your Invisalign® treatment in as little as 2 months, depending on the complexity of your case. You could start seeing results in a matter of weeks!
Clear and precise
The ClinCheck software allows you to visualise every stage of your Invisalign® treatment, helping to give you a clearer picture of the treatment duration and the movement of each tooth with more predictability.
Easier to maintain oral health
Since Invisalign® aligners are removable, you can still floss and brush your teeth as per normal.

Before/After
An overbite is when the upper front teeth bite too far over the lower front teeth. This can be caused by jawbone development or genetic issues. Overbites can make chewing difficult and irritate the gums, as well as wear down the lower teeth.
Before/After
An underbite is when the lower front teeth protrude further than the upper front teeth because of jaw development. This can cause chewing difficulties and lead to tooth wear and issues with your jaw joints.
Before/After
A crossbite can occur when crooked jaws cause the teeth to be misaligned, causing one or multiple upper teeth to contact the inside of the lower teeth. This can lead to increased risk of gum disease; teeth wear and bone loss.
Before/After
Gaps can appear in one part of the mouth or throughout the entire bite and can be caused by abnormal jawbone or because of tooth loss. This can cause gum problems and increased risk of periodontal disease.
Before/After
An open bite is when teeth don’t touch when the jaw is closed, often affecting the front teeth. This can be caused by abnormal jaw structures or thumb sucking and lead to chewing problems, speech impairment and increased risk of jaw joint problems.
Before/After
Teeth can become overcrowded if there is not enough room to fit them all in the jaw. Overcrowding can make teeth crooked and harder to clean, leading to increased risk of gum disease and tooth decay.

How we provide this service
Step One - Invisalign® consultation and records
Your Invisalign® journey begins with a complimentary consultation. We take our time to talk to you. We ask questions. We listen. We work with you to create a treatment plan that will work for you not – just for your teeth but for your lifestyle, not just for today but for the future.
We also undertake a thorough examination of your teeth and smile to determine your suitability for Invisalign®. Then, you will be given a rough outline of your total treatment duration, the category you fall under and as well as the complete costs involved.
During this appointment, an accurate scan is taken of your smile using Invisalign's® iTero 3D Scanner without the need for impressions. The scanner is much more comfortable and provides superior accuracy and precision. This scan is then used to map out a 3D custom simulation called Clincheck.
Book a consult
Step Two - Clincheck 3D discussion
The ClinCheck software allows us to map out the path to your new smile, right down to the tiniest detail and you will get to see an accurate preview of your teeth moving from the moment you start wearing Invisalign®, to the day you remove them.
Your feedback will be invaluable as we work closely with you to make changes to the smile design, to suit your facial aesthetics, as well as your desired outcome. We create a personalised roadmap of your treatment, helping to ensure each tooth moves in the correct order at the correct time, like a well-orchestrated dance. Once you're ready to proceed, we then approve and manufacture the first set of your customised Invisalign® aligners.
Step Three - Oral Wellness Visit
Prior to treatment, we must examine you-including your oral and gum health. We would never recommend treatment unless we are confident that the desired result can be safely and effectively achieved and that your teeth and gums are in good health.
Oral Wellness Visit
Step Four - Fitting your first clear aligners
Your first set of custom Invisalign® aligners will arrive approximately 2-4 weeks from your scan appointment. While you’re here, we’ll make sure that your aligners fit perfectly on you and your teeth. All the information you need to look after your aligners will be provided. You’ll need to wear each aligner for one to two weeks as prescribed. For your convenience, 3-4 sets of aligners will be dispensed to you at each appointment to reduce your number of visits.
Step Five - Monthly appointments
Most patients typically visit us every 4-8 weeks to track the movement of their teeth. Each appointment goes on for approximately 10 minutes and we update your teeth models so that your aligners reflect real-time progress. During this time, we’ll also provide you with the next series of aligners and address any concerns you may have.
Step Six - Aftercare
After completing your Invisalign® or orthodontic treatment, we will provide you with one set of upper and lower retainers. Retainers are required to keep your teeth in their new positions and regular retainer wear is necessary to preserve your new smile! We also recommend that you maintain your oral health with a regular Oral Wellness Visit every 6 months.
Bonus Teeth Whitening
Once the teeth are in the perfect position, most of our packages include a complimentary tooth whitening treatment to brighten your smile.
iTero Intraoral Scanner
We can map out your new smile using 3D images taken by the iTero Element scanner.
- Comfortable, fast and accurate scans
- Eliminates the mess and unpleasantness associated with traditional impressions
- Scans can be completed in as little as 60 seconds
- Allows us to create a detailed ClinCheck treatment plan and
- Tracks your progress at every appointment
ClinCheck software
ClinCheck software allows for a customised 3D treatment plan just for you to visualise the progressive movements and your expected final position of your teeth. This 3D computer imaging technology maps out the path to your smile.

The Suite
We’ve carefully curated our space to make the time you spend at Adawn as enjoyable, calming and comfortable as possible.
Safety First
A safer way to care for you
Above all else, safety is our priority.
While some industries are adjusting to a New Normal of safety measures, they’ve always been normal for us. After every patient, each of our clinical rooms is sanitised and our equipment sterilised. Our team also wears enhanced PPE (gloves, masks and protective eyewear), undergoes daily health checks and laundry service, and our COVID Safe plan is always up to date in line with Victorian Department of Health requirements.
Cutting edge technology
The technology available can completely change the patient experience and so we invest in the best. The state of the art equipment we have in house means we can craft finer restorations, detect problems earlier, reduce treatment time and even create custom appliances when we need to.
Designed for comfort
Going to the dentist can be uncomfortable and intimidating. It may even make you anxious. At Adawn, you are always in control of your experience. We have several options available to help our patients feel as comfortable as possible from Netflix and noise cancelling headphones, head rests and blankets, right through to sedation or general anaesthetic. We’re not comfortable unless you are.
Invest in your smile and start your Invisalign® journey from $7.50 per day.
Invisalign treatment starts from $3,000 for simple cases and goes up to $8,500 for very complex cases. Most people however are somewhere around the $6,500 mark.

Frequently asked questions
How often should I wear my Invisalign® aligners?
You should wear your aligners for at least 22 hours per day, only removing them to brush and floss your teeth and to eat and drink.
How long will treatment take?
The length of your treatment will depend on your specific needs and will be determined by your Invisalign-trained dentist. Some Invisalign® treatments can be completed in as little as 2 months but depending on the complexity of your case your Invisalign® treatment could take longer, with treatment times often ranging between 12 and 18 months.
We have recently introduced the Vpro™ Orthodontic Accelerator into our Practice. When used for 5 minutes a day, this device allows for faster and more stable teeth movements so that treatment can be completed in half the time as aligners are changed every 5-7 days instead of every 2 weeks.
Am I suitable for Invisalign®?
Most patients are suitable for Invisalign®. It is vital that you check your suitability with your dentist. Cases that are difficult or unsuitable for Invisalign® may include:
• Up-righting severely tipped teeth
• Not all the permanent teeth have erupted - you're still growing!
• Multiple missing teeth
• Unsuitable periodontal (gum) condition
• Patients wanting to change their facial profile
Does my insurance cover Invisalign®?
While Invisalign® treatment is usually covered, it may be considered as "major dental." We highly recommend that you ask your fund directly. Invisalign® treatment is claimed under number 881 - orthodontic treatment. This is for the entire treatment course.
Is Invisalign® treatment painful?
While Invisalign® treatment may move your teeth without the pain and anxiety of other straightening methods, some people might experience temporary, minor discomfort for a few days at the beginning of each new stage of treatment. This is normal and is typically described as a feeling of pressure. It's a sign that the Invisalign® aligners are sequentially moving your teeth to their final positions. This discomfort usually goes away a couple of days after you insert the new aligner in the series. If you notice a sharp pain or have significant discomfort, please contact us immediately.
Are there restrictions on what I can eat while on treatment?
No, you can usually eat what you want while in treatment because the Invisalign® aligners are removed when eating or drinking. Thus, there’s no need to refrain from your favourite foods and drinks. Except for cool water, we recommend that you don’t drink any other beverages while wearing the aligners. This is to avoid cavities and stains forming on your teeth or warping your aligners with hot beverages.
It’s recommended that you floss and brush your teeth after each meal and prior to re-inserting your aligners to maintain proper oral hygiene.
If I feel that my teeth look straight enough, can I stop the treatment?
No. It’s important that you follow the treatment plan developed by your dentist to ensure the best outcome. Your dentist will determine the recommended treatment duration for you depending on several considerations, including the spacing between your teeth and the need for retention.
How often should I change my aligners?
You will usually change your aligners every 2 weeks. However, if you are using the V-pro™ you can change every 5-7 days.
Will wearing the aligners affect my speech?
Like other orthodontic treatments, the Invisalign® aligners may temporarily affect the speech of some people for a day or two. However, as your tongue gets used to having aligners in your mouth, any misarticulation or minor speech impediment caused by the aligners should disappear. Please speak to your dentist about ways to help you get used to your aligners more quickly.
Why do some of my aligners have bumps or ridges on them?
Depending on your specific treatment, some of the movements may require either “attachments” or “ridges” to help the aligner grip the teeth. These bumps or wells are where the aligner grips the attachment the doctor places on your teeth. The attachments are small pieces of composite the doctor affixes to your teeth that are then gripped by bumps on your aligners. The ridges are slim indentations in your aligners. Your Invisalign-trained doctor will use one or both features to achieve the desired movement.
Are Invisalign® attachments noticeable?
Invisalign® fixtures are transparent, making them virtually invisible. They are bonded to the teeth using attachments, which are small, tooth-coloured attachments of dental bonding material. Depending on where these attachments need to be placed, they’re usually noticeable - though not dramatically so, thanks to their tooth colour. You can make Invisalign® attachments less noticeable by avoiding staining food and drinks and remembering to brush and floss often.
Can Invisalign® close gaps?
Invisalign® can close and fix most types of tooth gaps, whether they are on the top row or the bottom. However, keep in mind that larger gaps may take longer to correct. In these instances, patients may need to wear the Invisalign® aligner for up to two years.
Does Invisalign® straighten teeth as well as traditional metal braces?
Yes! Invisalign® aligners are incredibly effective and will straighten teeth perfectly. While Invisalign® aligners aren’t right for every orthodontic situation, they are a great choice for most smiles. For more severe cases that Invisalign® aligners cannot be used for, we will recommend braces.
Can Invisalign® be used on kids?
We are seeing an increasing number of children choosing Invisalign® as their teeth-straightening solution. Determining whether Invisalign® is suitable for your child will depend on a range of variables. The most important of these are the age of your child, their level of compliance with the process, their teeth positioning, their current teeth health and how much more development the mouth and jaw must go through. Older children and teens are generally more suitable for Invisalign® due to compliance. Invisalign® must be worn for at least 22 hours each day to be effective.
Another point to consider is your child’s teeth positioning and whether their teeth are fully grown. Invisalign® is most suitable for children who have lost all of their baby teeth and now only have permanent teeth.
The developmental stage of the jaws is an important factor that we will consider. Certain teeth and jaw misalignments are best treated early on while others will require adjunctive treatment, such as elastics. In some cases, we might opt to wait until development has further matured before starting Invisalign® treatment.
